Mitsubishi launched a slightly modernized Outlander

Quietly and without much fanfare, the Mitsubishi Outlander facelift is slowly being introduced to the European markets, i.e. the middle of the off-road cars that the three diamonds have in their offer.

And to recognize the modernized version from the predecessor is a rather difficult task. Probably the biggest clue is the new radiator grille , which is followed by modified front headlights with a black background. In the rear part, LEDs appear in the headlights , and the silver roof rails and black fender flares stand out from the profile. The specialty of the version with all-wheel drive is the silver-painted segments in the front and rear bumpers. The highest equipment received a new design of eighteen-inch wheels.

More significant changes have been made to the chassis, which is newly tuned to a much more comfortable note and, thanks to better insulation, is also less noisy. The same also applies to the engine compartment. Versions with a CVT transmission can look forward to a more linear and smoother shifting process. The equipment includes a navigation system, rear parking camera and keyless access. Tire pressure monitoring is standard for all versions, and selected markets can also look forward to a third row of seats. Under the hood, we continue to find the 2.0 MIVEC four-cylinder petrol engine and the 2.2 Di-D four-cylinder diesel engine, which are complemented by the PHEV plug-in hybrid version.
