Mitsubishi presents the latest Lancer Evo

The 2015 model year will be the last for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo in its tenth generation form. The uncompromising sedan with the genes of rally specials will be replaced by a plug-in hybrid coupe or, even worse, a plug-in hybrid SUV . The last scream into the darkness will be the Evo X Final Concept , which will premiere in Tokyo in January.

Fans of fast sedans will definitely be most interested in the space under the hood, where a two-liter four-cylinder with a good portion of extra power is in charge. The engineers extracted exactly 480 horsepower from it thanks to a new HKS turbocharger , a reprogrammed control unit, a modified intake and a new exhaust pipe. Power is sent to all wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. The chassis, which is height adjustable thanks to HKS parts, was not left out of interest either.

The matte black bodywork is complemented by a glossy black roof and spoiler, respectively several elements in chrome. The 19-inch forged aluminum wheels were supplied by Rays, and the high-grip tires were supplied by Yokohama.
