Mitsubishi presented probably the last modernization of the Lancer Evo

Production of the Lancer Evo X will take another year. Then the curtain will most likely close on ten generations of the rally legend and its successor will be a hybrid coupe , referring to the 3000 GT model, another exceptional car in the history of the three diamonds. For the last year of its life , the Evo received at least a decent modernization.

However, most likely only Americans will get it, because you simply can't buy a sports sedan in a large number of world markets (including the Czech one). In terms of appearance, all versions will receive side indicators, integrated into the rear-view mirrors , the more practical side of the car is represented by new drink holders.

All versions boast a multimedia system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, voice control, automatic climate control and a leather steering wheel with audio and cruise control. The GSR version also has leather upholstery, better sound insulation, an electric sunroof or heated front seats. The higher MR version also has automatic headlights, a rain sensor, nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio or a modified grille and air intakes.

There's no change under the hood, so look for a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 295 horsepower and 406 Nm of torque. All-wheel drive is standard, with a choice of a five-speed manual or a six-speed dual- clutch TC-SST automatic .
