The Mercedes-Benz car company wants to become again the number one in the luxury car market. It is helped by the model offensive, which includes, for example, the CLA four-door coupe; a small crossover based on the A- GLA ; "baby" of the big Géček – GLG and also MLC .
The latest upcoming model will become a direct competitor to the existing BMW X6 and the expected Audi Q6 . So that we can imagine the mentioned SUV, the German AutoBild.de created a nice illustration. It goes without saying that the MLC will essentially be an ML with a sloped roof. The X6 and Q6 competitor should have a new M platform and will be produced in the US state of Alabama, where the ML class is also currently produced.
In the engine compartment, there will be diesel and gasoline six- or eight-cylinder engines from 258 hp to the top AMG version with 544 hp. Power to all four wheels will be transmitted mainly through a seven-speed automatic transmission. The elegant coupe-SUV recently received the "green light" for production, the premiere will probably take place in the spring of 2014.
