Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force is a prototype of the new ~geek~

Mercedes is still looking for a successor to the "careful" G-Class . There was already one attempt – the GL class , however, never became a true successor to the "gecko" and to this day functions only as its more luxurious variant. Now it's time for another attempt – this one is supposed to symbolize the Ener-G-Force concept…

The design of the car was created as part of the ninth annual LA Design Challenge . This competition is an integral part of the LA Auto Show . This year's most striking model is undoubtedly the Ener-G-Force concept – that is, the G-Class for 2025 . And despite the fact that the design is very futuristic, at least in the front part you can find features of the current model. High ground clearance and off-road fenders give the car the necessary parameters for off-road driving…

And since this is a study for the year 2025 , the drive corresponds to it! A system called the Hydro-Tech Converter converts water, which is placed in tanks on the roof, into energy, which flows into batteries stored in the side sills, which then power the entire car. This system theoretically allows the car to travel up to 800 km !

Whether it is really just a vision or there is something more to it, we will probably find out in a few years. Anyway, it's a very interesting car…
