The Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W124) will go back into production in 2013!

If you are a fan of German Mercedes-Benz cars , you surely remember the time when the very successful E-class model (W124) blazed the road. This car was, is and will continue to be very popular with fans. Its production took place between 1984 and 1995 and we can still see it on our and foreign roads.

A few days ago, however, the news appeared that the automaker decided to restart the production of this great model for a short time in 2013, based on long-term reactions and suggestions from fans of the brand! According to a Mercedes spokesperson, it will be an identical E-class car with the designation W124 and a sedan body. Specifically, it will be a facelifted version that was produced between 1989-1993! The limited series , numbering exactly 100 pieces, will be intended for the most loyal fans of the German sedan.

As for the exterior, the "old" Ečko will be based on its original concept and the appearance of the components. The only change is the LEDs in the front headlights and modified clear optics. Otherwise, no interventions will take place and the car will be built exactly as it left the factory between 89" and 93".

Only two engines should appear under the hood. The first 50 units of the E W124 model will be fitted with a six-cylinder gasoline engine with a volume of 2.8 liters and an output of 165 kW. For collectors who prefer the diesel variant, the remaining 50 units will be powered by a 3.2 V6 diesel engine with a capacity of 145 kW.
