BBR has launched a Super 200 add-on package for the current Mazda MX-5 . It can be used for all model years of the NC generation, i.e. from 2005 to the present. The Miata thus receives a new air filter, a stainless steel exhaust tip, a modified cam and a reprogrammed ECU . Power has risen by 32 kW to a total of 150 kW and torque by 25 Nm to the current 225 Nm.
BBR decided to introduce this package because not all MX-5 owners want huge power and a supercharged engine in their roadster. The new Super 200 package thus keeps the Miata true to its original focus, but improves it a bit. The price of the package is 2120 Euro, i.e. roughly 60 thousand crowns, if you install the accessories yourself. If you do not trust your abilities, a set of modifications with professional assembly will cost you less than 77 thousand.
