The first images have appeared of the new Mazda 2 , which is sold in Japan under the name Demio and will be on the market next year. The concept could be officially presented at the Paris Motor Show in October. The appearance of the car is based on the Hazumi concept, which was presented at this year's Geneva Motor Show. Of course, the concept lost the aerodynamic accessories, big wheels and futuristic mirrors. Inside the center console is a tablet-style touchscreen that you can also control via the handbrake dial. The new car will also get a lighter platform, the SkyActiv 1.5 engine in both petrol and diesel versions, which already appeared in the Mazda 3 . The petrol version will have a power of 100 hp, while the diesel version will have 105.
