On the way from Paris to the ferry, Liazka encountered several minor technical problems in a blizzard, but they were resolved and the crews of all cars boarded safely. Then, on the 30th of February, Liazka 's round touched the African continent again after thirty years. The expedition then went to Tazekka National Park. There was another problem right on New Year's Day when a Toyota HiLux escort got stuck in the dunes. When trying to free him with the help of Liazka, she also fell. Due to the long recovery, the expedition did not have time to reach the city of Tata , where the bivouac was planned. But now the cars are on the road again.
