Recently, the brand revealed the new generation IS and immediately there were speculations, possibly real information, about the upcoming new SportCross .
More specifically, Lexus made the following announcement on their Facebook page: “Remember our 2002 IS 300 SportCross ? Do we bring him back to the menu? If you want to know the correct answer, check our Facebook in 5 days after the premiere of the new IS in Detroit ”. The first generation IS SportCross was sold only in the United States and Europe. In the land of the rising sun, the model was offered under the name Toyota AltezzaGita . In the current second generation, the SportCross variant did not appear, it was sold in a classic sedan and convertible with a fixed folding roof.
