Lexus introduced a new hybrid

The Lexus car company revealed a completely new version of the GS model series – the GS 300h model . The new GS 300h will play a key role in carving out market share in this class, with a special focus on corporate fleet sales, thanks to its excellent environmental parameters and an engine with a displacement in the very middle of its segment .

The GS 300h is a premium upper middle-class sedan equipped with a 2.5 l four-cylinder gasoline engine with an Atkinson cycle , technology combining direct and indirect fuel injection D-4S and a full hybrid Lexus Hybrid Drive with two electric motors (electric motor + motor generator), in a configuration with an engine in the front and drive in the rear col. With planned CO2 emissions below 110 g/km, this powertrain is one of the most economical in its class.

The GS 300h model is equipped with an even wider range of advanced safety equipment that expands the existing range of safety features of the GS model series. Among the new features are a redesigned color Head-Up Display (HUD) with projection onto the windshield and the RCTA (Rear Cross Traffic Alert) warning system, which monitors the car's surroundings when reversing and warns the driver in advance of an approaching moving obstacle – for example, when exiting rows of parked vehicles in the parking lot. The new Lexus GS 300h is also equipped with fog lights with LED technology .
