Land Rover introduced an improved version of the Discovery SUV

Again, after some time, the Land Rover Discovery was modernized . This time, the front part took it away, and no stone was left unturned even in the engine compartment, where the atmospheric eight-cylinder ends .

You will register the first change even before you look at the SUV. The number 4 no longer appears in the name. Discovery is just Discovery. Other changes also concern the markings – you can no longer look for the name of the engine in the rear part (newly on the front fender) and the name of the car appears on the hood instead of the inscription "Land Rover" . After all, other stylistic changes can be found in the front part. The front lights with LED diodes for daytime running are new, the radiator grille evokes those of larger Range Rovers, and the bumper did not escape modification.

Further modifications took place under the hood. The diesel 3.0 SDV6 with a power of 256 hp in combination with the eight-speed ZF automatic transmission now consumes only 8 l/100 km. This is primarily due to the standard stop/start system. An even bigger change, however, is the removal of the naturally aspirated 5.0 V8 with 375 horsepower, which was replaced by a three-liter supercharged six-cylinder (designated SCV6 ) with 340 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic is standard. The last engine option is the six-cylinder 3.0 TDV6 diesel with 211 horsepower.

A wading sensor was attached to the new Discovery directly from the Range Rover Sport. This is complemented by a blind spot sensing system or a T-junction camera system. Another convenience was adopted from the classic Ranger Rover – Meridian audio with seventeen speakers and a power of 825 Watts.
