The Lamborghini Urus , which was presented to us at this year's Beijing Auto Show , is not yet certain that it will go into production, but experts are already starting to speculate about its base price.
According to reports from the British Autocar , the price of the Urus model should start at approximately 170,000 euros. The interesting price tag would thus make the controversial SUV the most affordable model of the Italian automaker. Plans to produce 3,000 units per year and launch in 2016 are also still in place.
The Lamborghini Urus will use the company's PL73 platform, on which the new generation Audi Q7 , Porsche Cayenne , Volkswagen Tuareg or the production version of the Bentley EXP 9 F concept will also be used. In addition, the engineers focused on low weight, which should not exceed 2,000 kilograms thanks to the use of modern materials.
The manufacturer confirmed that under the hood will appear a forked eight-cylinder from Audi , producing 447 kW. The installation of a large-volume diesel unit, which is used by, for example, the Audi R8 , is also not excluded.
