Lamborghini Countach – Recall Evoluzione and LP500S Turbo

Lamborghini Countach Evoluzione

The Sesto Elemento is actually the successor to a similarly insane project – the Lamborghini Countach Evoluzione . The car was lightened as much as possible. Some of the body panels are made of carbon , others of aluminum , and they didn't even paint them. The interior is just a bunch of alarm clocks mounted on a piece of plywood. The car was lightened from 1480 kg to 980 kg and the engine was strengthened from 375 hp to 490 hp, which had a clear effect on driving characteristics and dynamics. 0-100km/h in 4.2s (instead of 5.4s) and the maximum speed climbed up to 330km/h (instead of 300km/h). And it wasn't even the strongest or craziest Countach.

Lamborghini Countach LP500S Turbo

Someone at Lamborghini probably thought 375 horsepower was insufficient power, so they thought, what's the easiest way to add a few hundred horsepower? I see! Turbo ! Or rather two! The result is a rubber-burning monster with 748 horsepower. Although the weight climbed from 1480 kilograms to a total of 1595 kilograms, the acceleration parameters and maximum speed are more than competitive even today. Instead of the usual 5.4 seconds, this Lambo reached 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, and the maximum speed of 333 km/h was 33 km/h higher than that of the regular version. Unfortunately, only one modified prototype remained.
