Kia has more GT-badged models planned

At this year's Geneva exhibition, we could see two new models with truly sporty ambitions at the Kia stand. Specifically, it was a three-door Pro_cee'd GT and a five-door Cee'd GT . There has been no mention of a sportier station wagon with the GT designation yet. However, according to the latest information, the Korean automaker plans to introduce more models with the letters GT over time.

It is said that this should happen in the foreseeable future, but of course everything depends on how the mentioned two siblings do on the sales market. If everything goes according to plan, we could expect the Rio GT model soon. As you can guess, it will compete mainly with the new Ford Fiesta ST, Peugeot 208 GTi or Renault Clio RS. It is almost certain that the announced Rio GT will offer less horsepower than its rivals, but it will make up for it with a decent price in relation to the equipment.

The named Pro_cee'd GT has only been on the market for a while, but the Korean automaker has already confirmed that the turbocharged 1.6 T-GDI engine will later be able to offer higher performance than before in order to make it more competitive.
