Jeep has revealed the Wrangler Sunriser concept

The upcoming departure of the Land Rover Defender means that you won't be able to buy many true off-roaders in Europe anymore. One of the last Mohicans is the Jeep Wrangler in the short three-door or longer five-door Unlimited variant. The Sunriser show car, currently on display in Frankfurt, is based on the latter variant in the Rubicon version.

The name Sunriser comes from the matte orange paint in which the Wrangler is launched. Next to it, the model with a 4-inch raised suspension is equipped with many accessories from Mopar . Among them, there are bumpers with two towing eyes in front, off-road fenders and half doors. The appearance is completed by LED lights between the A-pillar and the windshield, diodes are also used in the daytime running lights and rear end reflectors. The interior is upholstered in black leather, complemented by matte orange accessories. Under the hood we find a diesel 2.8 CRD in combination with a five-speed automatic transmission and bolted wheel rims . The last-named element, which fixes the tire to the wheel rim, is a prevention against the tire coming off when driving with reduced pressure, for example on a complex surface, stones, sand or mud.
