Iveco demonstrated what the future of vans will look like

What will the future of deliveries look like? Futuristic design, topless steering wheel, digital instrument panel, dual drive option and automatic cargo organizer. At least that's how the Italian Iveco imagines it.

At first glance, you can identify his Vision concept with the previously presented new generation of the Daily large van. The main distinguishing features of the concept are LED front lights and a transparent A-pillar, improving the view from the vehicle. Also interesting is the glass roof and side sliding doors , which, in addition to access to cargo, also replace classic doors for access to the interior. And speaking of it, like the rest of the car, it's very futuristic. It is missing the upper part of the rim of the steering wheel and in front of the driver we find a digital instrument panel . In the upper part of the front window there is a screen on which the images of the parking camera are projected.

The van is powered by a Dual Energy drive unit, which allows the driver to use two types of ecological drive. In the first case, it is a purely emission-free ride with a zero noise level. If you choose the second method, you get a thermoelectric hybrid , which is suitable for longer routes and reduces CO2 emissions by 25%. The hybrid is also equipped with an adaptive traction system with real-time energy management. Depending on the situation, the car can choose whether to drive purely on electricity or as a hybrid.

In the cargo area we find another of the very handy electronic assistants . The sensors can recognize the load that is being transported and choose the right place for it. In addition, they ensure that the load does not move around the car during the drive and can facilitate the loading and unloading process itself.
