An interesting copy of the Range Rover Evoque

Chinese copies of the Range Rover Evoque , which is very successful around the world, are constantly increasing. Thanks to the GX6 model, the Gonow car company is responsible for one of the last ones.

The Evoque inspiration is probably most visible in the front part , especially in the headlamps and radiator grille. With a length of 4640 mm , a width of 1815 mm, a height of 1800 mm and a wheelbase of 2745 mm , the GX6 will easily outgrow the British model, even if we build a more practical five-door version for it. If we gradually move to the rear, the Evoque inspiration is still evident, but far less noticeable. Yes, we also have a two-tone paint job here, but the group lights are only remotely reminiscent of the Range Rover.

On the contrary, the interior is definitely not original. Of course, the quality and processing of the materials used will be somewhere else entirely, but the design evokes the Evoque more than enough. Whether it is the center console "surrounded" by a silver line or the multimedia system, we recognize British originals. On the other hand, the cheaper design of the steering wheel , the strange shape of the gear lever and, after all, also the upholstery of the seats and door panels in a combination of black and red are typically Chinese. In addition to the already mentioned infotainment, the equipment also includes automatic air conditioning , navigation and digital television.

Under the hood, we find a 2.4-liter gasoline four-cylinder , originally from Mistubishi, in combination with a five-speed manual transmission, originally from Getrag. The alternative is a two-liter four-cylinder diesel engine with direct injection and a six-speed manual transmission, which, however, has nothing to do with the Japanese automaker. The price starts at 109,800 yuan (approx. 398,000 crowns) and ends at 146,800 yuan (approx. 533,000 crowns).
