The important American market brings Infiniti to 120,000 customers a year, so it is not surprising that it is on American soil that we see the rebranded M model for the first time. It is called the Q70 and with the new name it also received a decent modernization and an extended wheelbase.
The exterior came closer to the smaller Q50 sedan , with a new grille, revised front and rear LED lights, a different front bumper and a reshaped trunk lid. The most fundamental change remains the new extended version of the Q70L , which has a wheelbase of 3050 mm (+ 150 mm compared to the classic sedan) and, contrary to some assumptions, will not remain reserved only for the Chinese market, which will tolerate similar cars. The Q70L promises more than 80 cm of legroom for rear passengers , which according to the automaker is the most in its class, automatic rear doors or optional heated rear seats.
The six-cylinder 3.7 with 335 hp, the eight-cylinder 3.5 with 426 hp (the extended version has 422 hp) and the hybrid system with a combined output of 365 hp continue to work under the hood. However, if you want a hybrid, you'll have to settle for a classic wheelbase. An interesting novelty in the offer is the Sport version , which looks a little more aggressive thanks to the modified bumper and twenty-inch wheels.
