Pictures of the Chevrolet Traverse after the facelift

The place of great premieres is not only Geneva, Switzerland. There will certainly be no shortage of news at the upcoming New York auto show, where the rejuvenated Chevrolet Traverse crossover will be officially presented to the world for the first time.

The model, which is not very well known in our country, now has a more modern appearance with a more attractive front part of the car, led by new headlights, a sleeker radiator grille and front bumper. Changes have also taken place at the rear, where we can notice slightly modified lamps. What about a view of the interior? In addition to space for seven passengers, the generously designed cabin will also offer softened plastics, chrome decorations and a redesigned central tunnel, newly supplemented with a multifunctional information system.

And just like the GMC Acadia , the Traverse is powered by a six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3.6 with an output of 215 kW (292 hp) and a torque of 366 Nm. The drive unit is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission and in the basic configuration drives the wheels of the front axle.

The 2013 Chevrolet Traverse will go on sale later this year for an as yet unspecified price.
