Hyundai will present a small coupe concept in Geneva

While Kia has already presented its answer to the Alfa 4C , Hyundai has been waiting for a similar car until now. However, everything will change in just a few weeks in Geneva , where we will see the PassoCorto study .

The exterior appearance of the coupe, with the literal name short wheelbase, is the responsibility of the Italian design studio IED , where the European design center of the Korean automaker had it made. The interior is equipped with a pair of seats that connect directly to the dashboard and are embedded in the self-supporting frame at the back.

If we ever see a similar model in production, it will have a length of 4100 mm , a width of 1880 mm, a height of 1160 mm and a wheelbase of 2450 mm. Why do we write on a theoretical level? Because in Geneva, instead of a real car, we will only see a 1:10 scale clay model .

Hyundai states that the eventual real model will get a carbon monocoque , which, together with the light body, will bring the weight of the car to 840 kg . The drive will be provided by a twin-turbocharged four-cylinder 1.6 with a capacity of 270 horsepower.
