Hyundai modified the MPV ix20

The Hyundai ix20 is very popular in Europe and at one time in the Czech Republic it was even sold by a campaign proclaiming that it is more than a station wagon . That's why the modernization presented in Geneva is rather understated and the MPV is supposed to maintain "attractiveness in all European markets."

At first glance, you will probably only notice the modified radiator grille with a mesh grille or chrome slats. Only after a while will you also notice the redesigned projector front and LED group lights . The bike range comes with steel 15-inch or cast 16-inch or 17-inch wheels. At a length of 4115 mm, the interior has retained its variability, including the sliding rear seats, the new feature is the optionally available heated steering wheel, or the latest generation audio system with iPod, USB and AUX input, integrated My Music system (capacity 1 GB) and Bluetooth hands-free.

The engine range includes 1.4- and 1.6-liter gasoline four-cylinders of the Gamma series, respectively 1.4- and 1.6-liter diesel four-cylinders of the U-II series. The weaker petrol engine has 90 hp and 137 Nm, the stronger one has 125 hp and 156 Nm. The range of transmissions for petrol engines includes a manual five-speed manual for the 14-litre, or a manual or new automatic six-speed for the 16-litre. Fourteen-horsepower diesel 77 or 90 hp and always 240 Nm, sixteen-horsepower has 115 or 128 hp and always 260 Nm. From the gearboxes, both units work exclusively with a manual six-speed manual. The offer also includes the ecological variant BlueDrive with tires with lower rolling resistance, the ISG system, brake energy recovery and active slats in the radiator grille.
