Hyundai modernized the compact Solaris

Solaris is something of a gold mine for Hyundai in Russia . Last year alone, 113,991 units of this compact model were sold on the local market. The latter received a facelift after four years, which optically brought it closer to its larger siblings.

The main change is a completely new front end with different headlights, a radiator grille with two transverse slats and a bumper with integrated LED daytime running lights. The Solaris is thus closer to its larger siblings, the Sonata or the Grandeur . New LED lights and a redesigned bumper await in the rear. From now on, all equipment levels have painted bumpers , mirror covers and door handles will remain unpainted in the lowest equipment.

In terms of design, the interior received different controls for the automatic climate control and audio system, the rear seats can be heated on request. The upholstery of the entire interior has been improved. Under the hood, we still find a 107-horsepower 14-liter gasoline engine or a 126-horsepower 16 -liter gasoline engine, which is only available for higher trim levels. New is the six-speed automatic transmission , exclusively available only for the more powerful engine, offered alongside the five-speed manual.

Production will take place at the company's factory in St. Petersburg, the base price was set at 473,900 rubles (approx. 277,000 CZK).
