Hyundai 's original intention was to offer Europe only a shorter version of the third generation Santa Fe SUV . The longer one with the designation Grand was to remain reserved only for the USA . However, visitors can see the opposite at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Compared to the classic Santa Fe, the Grand Santa Fe grew mainly in length . There, expect an increase of 225 mm, while the wheelbase has increased by 100 mm. The Grand Santa Fe is also 10mm taller and 5mm wider. The increase in dimensions is mainly reflected in the interior space. The trunk has a new basic volume of 607 liters , and the interior will offer up to seven seats.
