Hyundai modernized sedan and kombi i40

It has been more than three years since the introduction of the i40 model, then a new representative of the "Hjondé" fluid design . During that time, the mid-range model managed to find over 100,000 customers . Those who are still hesitating to buy can look forward to the current facelift, focusing mainly on technology.

Both CRDi 17-litre diesels comply with the Euro 6 emission standard, in addition to the manual six-wheel drive, there is also a new seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters under the steering wheel on offer (for the more powerful version). If you choose the weaker version of the 1700, you get 115 hp at 4000 rpm and 280 Nm between 1250 – 2500 rpm, the stronger version has 141 hp at 4000 rpm and 340 Nm between 1750 – 2500 rpm. Furthermore, the Advanced Traction Cornering system was modified, using electronic sensors that try to imitate as much as possible the action of the limited slip differential during cornering.

The offer of passive and active safety elements has been expanded. You can now choose to automatically turn on the high beams if the traffic in front of the car requires it, or recognize speed limit traffic signs, while the data from them is transferred to the new TFT display on the instrument panel. And speaking of the interior, navigation with improved touch control is also new.

The most striking design change is the hexagonal grille with chrome slats and a black background. The front bumper was also redesigned with LED fog lights , first used in the Genesis luxury limousine. The front and rear lights have new graphics, especially in the front ones there is a distinctive strip of LED diodes for daytime running lights. The icing on the cake is the modified 16-inch and 18-inch alloy wheels.
