Hyundai introduced another of its series of sedans shorter than 4 meters

Sedans with a length of less than 4 meters have increased significantly in the last few hours. To Dad Zest and Ford Figo was joined by Hyundai , which built the Xcent sedan on the basis of the Grand i10 hatchback.

In appearance, the Xcent is probably not surprising – it is simply what a sedan derived from the Hyundai i10 should be. According to a press release, the compact sedan offers the largest trunk in its class and generous knee and headroom for rear passengers. As the first car in the compact sedan segment, the Xcent will get air conditioning vents for the rear seats , rear parking camera and sensors or push button start.

The equipment also includes ABS, a pair of airbags, rear parking sensors or radio control on the steering wheel. Under the hood, there will be a 12-litre petrol engine , already known from the Grand i10 model, and a 14-litre diesel engine , which is used, for example, in the i20 and Verna models. Both engines will be combined with automatic and manual transmissions.

Sales of the small sedan will start next month , when the Korean automaker will also announce its prices.
