For this money, you will have to wade through a bunch of Ford Escorts, Opel Astras, triple Volkswagen Golfs, Suzuki Swifts, Fiat Puntos and Renault 19s. From the crowd of these cars, often marked by the attempts of persistent tuners, you can deviate from the extravagant Saab 93. If you are lucky, you will also find more interesting cars such as Honda CRX Del Sol or MG F. You will also find the first generation Mazda MX-5 , but in such a condition that you better avoid it. Personally, although I prefer Japanese cars, I would look for the fifth Alfa Romeo Spider. Sure, many of you snicker that she's a hot-headed wayward Italian and that buying a second-hand Alfa is equivalent to a summer spent on repairs. But the truth is that the fifth generation Spider looks great, its design ages like good whiskey. You'd better forget about the V6, but the two-liter twinspark won't embarrass you either. Plus, you'll own a convertible with Pininfarina lettering on the side. He may sulk sometimes, but honestly, you can't expect reliability in any car with this budget. Finding a Mazda Miata or Fiat Barchetta is much less of a problem. In addition to them, you can try to attract other types of ladies with Audi 80 convertibles or the not so old Chevrolet Camaro from the 90s. To the uninitiated, it is also interchangeable with much more expensive and reputable cars, which can easily turn against you. You can also try to find a Peugeot 205 CTI, but you will not stop regretting not taking a hatchback. You will hesitate over a three-wheeled BMW or a Smart Roadster, while youngtimers will drive around Triumph TR7 and Fiat X1/9 Bertone . But this is where the Japanese moment comes. Right now you can buy a Miata without any regrets, or try to discover a good Toyota MR2. They do not have such an increasing price yet and they excel in reliability. In addition, they will reward you with great driving experiences. But watch out for their worse anti-corrosion protection. Of course, it's summer and these cars won't be in contact with water much, but at least choose a little carefully so you don't brake with your feet like Fred Flintstone. Alternatively, you can try to find an MTX Roadster for sale, but be prepared to spend some money on the renovation. But remember that then the guys themselves will be milling around your car. For the girls, you will still have just an ordinary Skoda Favorit.

Hmm, so you're serious, huh? You've saved really hard, so you deserve something real. Sure, there are plenty of older Mercedes SLKs, BMW Z3s, but you just don't want that. There are also classic Mercedes SLs, but they already look old, then the CLK, but it has strange proportions. Then there's the Audi TT, but you still don't want to explain to people that you're taking your wife's car to the garage. Plus, claiming to have a wife is a bit counterproductive when I have a convertible. You will be in a similar situation in the Porsche Boxster. With this saved money, you can decide to fulfill two dreams in one and buy a new Chevrolet Corvette C4. Besides the wind in your hair, you will get a really fast car and you will finally start to feel special.
Up to 500,000 CZK
An Audi A3 or A4, a BMW 3 series, a Jaguar XK8, or a Mercedes SL like Bobby had in the Dallas series, but you'd better skip that one. But there are other options – the classic Alfa Romeo Spider or the MG B Convertible. After all, Dustin Hoffman was so irresistible in The Graduate . A checkered beret, driving glasses and gloves and a long white scarf are suitable for MG. You can also equip the Triumph TR6 in a similar way. Or you can honor the home brand and buy a classic Skoda Felicia from the 60s. Just be careful, the car is a bit more complicated for the driver and it will take a while to get used to it.

Finally, the Porsche 911 , modern Mercedes SLs, Audis A4s and BMW triples are in the selection. But you only have one million and you have to prove that you can enjoy it. You can get, for example, a stylish Triumph TR3, an elegant TVR, a driver's Lotus Elise or a Ferrari 308 GTS. However, none of this suggests that you have a seven-figure sum to throw away for a car that you use 5 times a year. But so what? Citroën DS Convertible. Fantomas was just very cool and his car couldn't be more perfect. Plus, you'll stand out from the crowd of all those rich people who end up in cheap Ferraris or Porsches. No, no one will consider you a rich man, because in the "goddess" you will be a connoisseur…

You can have a BMW M3, you can also have a Porsche Carrera, or even an exceptional Renault Sport Spider or Smart Fortwo from Brabus. But seriously, will you give two and a half "balls" for that?
