Honda revealed the facelift of the CR-V SUV for the second time

The Paris Motor Show in October hosted the world premiere of the modernized Honda CR-V , which somewhat inexplicably had the magic word "Prototype" in its name. However, that disappeared as the year ended and Honda revealed the production form of the 2015 model year CR-V

As part of the facelift, the CR-V received a completely new front part, interesting especially with the main lights with LED diodes for daytime running lights. The radiator grille with a distinctive chrome strip , the complete front bumper with angular fog lights and the silver-painted undercarriage protection were also changed. Even in the rear, LED lights were spared, supplemented by a new trunk lid and bumper. The interior is more stylish and functional when, in addition to the new chrome strip and armrest, it received the Honda Connect multimedia system . This is connected to a rear parking camera, access to the Internet and to the Honda App Center, nine pre-installed applications, an audio system including a digital radio or optional Garmin navigation . As part of connectivity, it can be connected to an external device using Bluetooth or the MirrorLink function, which we already know from the new Skoda Fabia.

Big changes will take place under the hood, where we will no longer find the 2.2 i-DTEC four-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 150 hp and a torque of 350 Nm. In its place, the i-DTEC diesel engine with 160 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque is on offer, which in combination with the six-speed manual does not emit more than 130 g of CO2/km and in combination with the new nine-speed automatic more than 135 g of CO2/km. The front-wheel-drive version will continue to have a 120-horsepower i-DTEC under the hood with emissions lower than 117 g CO2/km, the 155-horsepower two-liter gasoline engine with front- or all-wheel drive, or manual or automatic transmission, has also been retained .
