Honda is exhibiting a modernized version of the Civic in Frankfurt

The main star of the Honda stand in Frankfurt is the Civic Tourer station wagon. Next to it, the modernized form of the classic Civic crouches a bit in the background, which unified its appearance with the station wagon variant.

But the changes are not at all significant and only a sharp eye can recognize them. The rear lights were blacked out, the strip above the license plate , on the trunk lid, in the rear bumper and the splitter in the front bumper are also black. Darker are the edges of the fenders, in which new seventeen- inch aluminum wheels in silver or black can appear. The interior was modernized even more minutely, when Honda used new thread for stitching the seats and steering wheel and new buttons on the radio panel and steering wheel.

Minor changes have been made to the steering , which should be smoother and should ensure better stability and comfort at higher speeds, as well as the front and rear suspension.

Similar to the station wagon, the classic hatchback also features several new assistance systems . All of them include lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, city braking system, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, side collision warning system (for example, when leaving a parking lot) and automatic high beam switching.
