Holden completes the Commodore VF model range

The eyes of almost all interested people, as well as enthusiasts, are currently focused on Switzerland , where the world's most important motor show will start in a few weeks. Nevertheless, there were a few brave people who, even during the Geneva premieres, reveal cars that will not be presented in the country of the Helvetic cross.

One such brand is Holden . The weekend before last, he presented the new generation of the Commodore sedan with the designation VF . Now the offer of this series is starting to grow gradually.

The first new member is the powerful SS V version , which offers a more dynamic appearance than the sedan. You can recognize the sports version thanks to new bumpers, modified radiator grille, rear diffuser and spoiler, new exhaust tips and especially 20-inch wheels . How much Holden will charge for the very successful Fantale color has not yet said.

Inside, the SS V will offer leather-trimmed sports seats , sport-colored alarm clocks and, of course, the MyLink information system with an 8-inch touchscreen. Under the hood, the same engine as in the Chevrolet SS will appear – that is, an eight-cylinder LS3 series with a volume of 6.2 liters , which has a power of 421 horsepower. Brembo brakes take care of safe stopping, and a 6-speed manual transmission transfers power to the road through the rear wheels.

The same exterior design as the SS V sedan is also used by the traditional Ute-badged pickup truck . In the first photos, the automaker presented it in the sporty SS V version , but there is no doubt that there will be room for the classic version as well.

The Ute SS V takes all the design elements from the sedan mentioned above, the only changes are the two-seater interior configuration and the cargo area in the rear of the car . Under the hood will appear the same unit as in the above-mentioned sedan – i.e. the 6.2 eight-cylinder engine with an output of 421 horsepower , which will be connected to a 6-speed manual.

The third in the party is a somewhat more "settled" version of the Sportwagon . It will offer the same design as the sedan up to the B-pillar, but then the roof will be extended to fit more luggage into the back of the car. Unfortunately, we do not have specific numbers.

The Sportwagon has completely taken over the interior from the sedan version, which means the use of the MyLink information system or better ergonomic controls than the predecessor. V6 and V8 engines should take care of the drive, and a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission should provide reliable power transmission on the road.
