With the elegant convertible Skoda Felicia from 1961, the car company will participate in the fifth edition of the Hamburg-Berlin-Klassik race . The event takes place every year and has been one of the most important veteran events in Germany since its first launch in 2008 . The 51-year-old Felicia cabriolet comes from the Skoda historical collection in Mladá Boleslav . With its attractive color design, elegant shape and distinctive fins on the rear, it is an automotive jewel. The cream interior matches perfectly with the blue-green color of the body. The four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1,089 cm3, which is located longitudinally at the front, produces 50 horsepower. The maximum speed of the convertible weighing only 930 kg is around 130 km/h.

The basis for the Felicia car was the Skoda 450 roadster from 1957 – an open version of the closed Skoda 440 , the so-called "Spartacus". While the 440 was given the name Octavia after a facelift in 1959, the 450 roadster was renamed Felicia .

The three-day Hamburg-Berlin-Klassik takes place for the fifth time this year. 180 cars arrive at the start of the race, also known as the "Rally of the North". Participating crews of the rally are fans of historic cars, collectors, celebrities, but also students.

The event is open to every participant, the prerequisite is a historically valuable car that was manufactured before 1990. Three- and four-wheeled vehicles that comply with the regulations in the Federal Republic of Germany are allowed. The approximately 750-kilometer route leads from Hamburg through the beautiful back roads of northern Germany and the Mecklenburg Lake District to Berlin
