The Chevrolet Silverado presented yesterday lost several chrome accessories in the front part as part of the facelift. The technically related GMC Sierra did not suffer this fate, but there are still more than enough changes.
Let's start with the most visible one, namely the C-shaped daytime running lights . The same lighting technology is also used by the narrow strips of fog lights, respectively the end reflectors, again with the optics of the third letter of the alphabet. New is the radiator grille , the design of which differs depending on the selected equipment level, as well as the front bumper, whose appearance is no longer so massive. Photos of the modified cabin are more or less successfully hidden so far, so we only know about the use of a new generation multimedia system , supporting the Apple CarPlay and Andrioid Auto interfaces.
Under the hood, the modernization went without changes, the basis is a 4.3-liter six-cylinder engine with an output of 289 hp, followed by a 5.3-liter eight-cylinder engine with an output of 360 hp, respectively a 6.2-liter eight-cylinder engine with an output of 426 hp. As in the Silverado, an eight-speed automatic is expected to be expanded. However, we will have to wait until this autumn for more information.
