Ford launches new Taurus in China

The Taurus name has always been associated with American roads, which have been plying since 1985. However, the Blue Oval is introducing the new generation first in China , where Taurus should represent a sedan for demanding customers, especially executives.

The appearance of the 4996 millimeter long body is recognizable even to a person who only knows the current Ford portfolio , especially the Mondeo and Fusion twins. Although the trapezoidal radiator grille is not so rounded in direct comparison with the mentioned pair, in addition, there is a larger amount of chrome on it, but the shape of the LED diode lamps is almost identical. LED fog lights are built into the front bumper, and the rear group lights, connected by a chrome bar, also received the same lighting technology. The premium touch of the car is given by 19-inch wheels with a polished surface and ten spokes.

Thanks to the wheelbase of 2949 millimeters , the cabin has to offer enormous space, especially for the rear two or three passengers. And since the rear passengers are the most important in China, they have electrically adjustable seats for the first time in a Chinese Ford. An adjustable lumbar support and a massage machine are also available for an additional fee. In the central armrest, which changes the three-seater arrangement of the rear bench to two-seaters, there are cup holders and buttons for adjusting the seats, respectively controlling the entertainment system and air conditioning. A total of 25 storage spaces are distributed throughout the interior, and the drink holders are also designed to hold tea cups of various sizes. The materials used in the cabin are among the best of the blue oval's current offer. While the seats are upholstered in leather, the dashboard is inlaid with wood and chrome. A panoramic sunroof is also part of the standard equipment.
