The Ford Mustang GT passed through the hands of Penske and Hertz

In 1966 , the Shelby Mustang GT 350H was introduced. The H in the name stands for Hertz – one of the largest car rental companies in the world. Over time, the classic Mustang GT 350H has become a legend to follow.

That's why Hertz teamed up with Penske to create a modified Mustang GT for the 21st century. At first glance, you can safely distinguish it from the classic Mustang – the black color with gold stripes is already somewhat iconic. Other modifications include a front splitter from the Boss 302 version and a rear diffuser from the Shelby GT500.

The interior has also been modified. The latter mainly received Recaro racing seats from the Mustang Laguna Seca model. There are also special carpets and door sills or the MyFord Touch information system.

The engine is powered by a five-liter eight-cylinder , which received a new control unit, modified exhaust system and new air intake. The exact performance parameters are not known, the standard model has a power of 426 hp. The chassis, gearshift with a 3.55 ratio and new Brembo brakes have also been modified.

If you are interested in a vehicle, you must dream about private ownership. The special Mustang GT will be part of the Hertz Adrenaline Collection program and you will be able to rent it at select airports across the US.
