Ford has launched a new version of its Fiesta ST hot-hatch on the European market. It was created by modifying the current ST-2 version.
The new ST-3 received a completely new navigation system , automatic lights , a rain sensor and electrically adjustable mirrors as standard equipment. There is also cruise control , keyless unlocking and a self-dimming rearview mirror . The addition of equipment is based on the fact that customers are very happy to pay extra for these elements.
The E ST is still powered by the same turbocharged four-cylinder 1.6 EcoBoost , which sends 197 horsepower to the front axle via a six-speed manual transmission. And you can have it in white Frozen, red Race, black Panther, blue Spirit and orange Molten. The new ST-3 will cost about 650,000 crowns in Britain. In Europe, it will only be available as a three-door, American customers will also be able to buy a five-door version.
