The Italian manufacturer Fiat released the first information about the upcoming Viaggio model after the recent photo leak . It will have its premiere at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show .
The Fiat Viaggio is a compact sedan built on the base of the Dodge Dart concern. Thanks to this, its wheelbase reaches a solid 2708 millimeters, which is excellent news for comfort-hungry Europeans. On our continent, the Viaggio will be sold as a replacement for the Fiat Bravo .
Of course, we can find a similarity with the default model at Fiat , but even so, the manufacturer tries to disguise it with a chrome radiator grille and fog lights with decorative frames. In the rear part, there will be minor changes to the luggage compartment lid, on the sides of which LED lamps will be placed.
According to the information so far, the four-cylinder T-Jet with a volume of 1.4 liters and performance versions with 88 and 110 kW will appear under the hood. The units will be connected to a six-speed manual transmission as standard, with an automatic dual-clutch transmission as an option.
According to previous reports, the Viaggio will be offered in hatchback and sedan body styles. We will bring more details after the presentation of the car, which is planned for April 23.
