Fiat presented the Ottimo Cross concept

Italian Fiat, among others, intends to take advantage of the growing popularity of the raised hatchback segment with plastic body protection. The Ottimo model, intended primarily for China, went through a special skin, during which it became rougher and got all-wheel drive .

Above all, the concept Ottimo Cross is significantly different from its competitors with the drive of both axles, which mostly make do with the drive of the front axle and a certain electronic supplement, helping in worse weather conditions. However, this also ends the information contained in the press release about the drive. What is hidden under the hood of Fiat, we can mention the fact that the standard hatchback is available with a T-Jet petrol engine with 120 or 150 horsepower.

Much more than technology, however, this concept is about an effective appearance , which, in addition to the increased ground clearance and already mentioned plastics, is also ensured by LED diode lights at both ends of the body, respectively a pair of additional diode reflectors on the roof . The silver plastic around the intake opening, with integrated exhaust eyes, in the front and rear bumpers looks very nice. Due to the cast wheels, the Italians prove for a change that they are no stranger to design. The roof, in addition to being fully glazed , also received practical silver roof rails. Changes in the cabin were limited to bright leather seat upholstery, stitching of some parts with red thread and the installation of Uconnect infotainment with a seven-inch touch screen.
