Fiat 500L he is no newcomer to the Czech Republic. Now the 500L is coming to the USA , where it is not only a classic MPV, but also a pseudo SUV with the moniker Trekking . It will offer few plastics and more style.
In terms of design, the 500L Trekking differs from the base model in a classic way between similar models. So you get both bumpers with massive plastic, plastic fender and sill protection, 17-inch wheels and two-tone body paint. In the interior, there is a place for a combination of brown and black colors, as well as a Uconnect multimedia system with a 6.5-inch touchscreen.
A single engine will appear under the hood – a turbocharged 1.4 MultiAir with a capacity of 160 hp , already known from the Abarth 595 model. In the Trekking version, it appears in combination with an automatic DDCT or a 6-speed manual transmission. Those who were looking forward to a 4×4 drive after looking at the cool appearance will be disappointed. Fiat will not offer this item on the Trekking.
The Trekking will be produced on the same line as the base model – i.e. in Kragujevac, Serbia . The European premiere is scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show .
