Fiat has modernized the Bravo

After very weak sales in Europe since last year, you won't buy the Fiat Bravo , a 4373 mm long lower-mid hatchback. However, this model is quite popular in Brazil, so it is not surprising that it received a decent facelift for the new model year .

Its main distinguishing feature is a bolder front end with a new grille and redesigned bumper, both with more chrome. In the rear, on the other hand, Fiat bets on a sporty style , when it equipped the Bravo with a diffuser and, in some versions, a double tailpipe. Also, you will no longer miss the model name – it is now placed in a larger font above the car manufacturer's logo. A typical element of the facelifted models is a refreshed range of paints and alloy wheels .

There are even fewer changes inside than outside. The main one is the Uconnect multimedia system offered as standard with a five-inch touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port and the ability to read or send text messages. Higher trim levels also have built-in TomTom navigation with voice control. Between the front seats there is now an armrest with two cup holders, the instrument panel, the backlighting of the controls and also the upholstery of the seats have been slightly redesigned. In addition to the multimedia system, the standard equipment also includes two front airbags, air conditioning, electric front windows, ABS, Isofix or remote-controlled central locking.

Under the hood, we find only two engines – a 152-horsepower T-Jet petrol engine with a six-speed manual transmission and an 18-horsepower Flex with gasoline (130 hp) and ethanol (132 hp) combustion in combination with a five-speed manual transmission or a Dualogic Plus automatic. The end customer can choose from the equipment lines Essence (61,990 reais = approx. 545,000 crowns), Sporting (67,990 reais = approx. 597,000 crowns) and T-Jet (78,490 reais = approx. 689,000 crowns). In a limited number of pieces, the Black Motion edition will be available, featuring elements in black, a sports chassis, 17-inch wheels and better equipment (navigation, rear parking sensors, leather upholstery) for 68,990 reais (approx. 606,000 crowns).
