Fiat 500S – ripped off Abarth

The Italian concern FIAT is currently benefiting from the success of the small 500 and their derivatives. The latest was the MPV with the designation 500L , and the premiere of the small crossover 500X is also on the way. Even before the 500X made its debut, the automaker revealed the "edgier" 500S model .

Unfortunately, the new 500S is a pseudo-sporty model, which will find itself between the classic 500 and the sharp Abarth in the brand's portfolio. The Fiat 500S can be recognized primarily thanks to the special appearance package, which includes alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, a new front bumper similar to the American version, tinted rear windows, side sill extensions and, last but not least, chrome accessories.

The interior features newly upholstered sport seats with red stitching, a leather gear shift knob and a matte silver central dashboard. Equipment includes manual air conditioning, electric and heated mirrors, Blue&Me system with USB port and Bluetooth, radio controls on the steering wheel and height-adjustable seats. Optional equipment includes automatic air conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels and a roof spoiler in black.

Unfortunately, there will be no changes under the hood, we will continue to find power units from the classic five hundred. Specifically, we are talking about the 1.2i (69 hp), the 0.9 TwinAir (85 hp), the 1.4i 16V (100 hp) and the diesel 1.3 MultiJet (95 hp) . All engines are available in either a classic version or a cabriolet .

On the Italian market, prices for the three-door version range between 13,750 – 16,050 Euros (approx. 346,000 – 404,000 crowns) and for the convertible in the range of 17,250 – 19,550 Euros (approx. 435,000 – 492,000 crowns).
