Fiat 500L got two new engines

The well-designed MPV Fiat 500L , which is derived from the Fiat 500 or Punto will get two new engines . Fiat wants to further support the sale of this "inflated five hundred".

The first new unit is the 0.9 TwinAir Turbo turbocharged two-cylinder petrol engine . The latter is tuned to 105 hp and 145 Nm in the 500L. Acceleration to 100 km/h will take place in 12.3 seconds, and the model should continue up to the limit of 180 km/h. At the same time, the average consumption does not exceed 4.8 l/100 km and the released emissions value 112 g/km.

The second unit is a four-cylinder diesel 1.6 MultiJet with an output of 105 hp. However, the diesel unit will offer up to 320 Nm , a maximum speed of 181 km/h and acceleration to 100 km/h in 11.3 s. The average consumption will reach 4.5 l/100 km and you will emit a surprising 5 g of CO2/ km more than in the case of the petrol variant.

Both engines will hit the market in March, and the petrol unit even has Czech prices – they start at CZK 339,900 .
