Fiat 500 Zagato presented in Geneva

Fiat unveiled its 500 Zagato coupe today in Geneva. It was inspired by the original Coupe Zagato, which was produced in the fifties on the platform of the then 500.

What was on display was a car that you could mistake for a Fiat 500 right up to the top edge of the door. But beyond this limit, Zagato created an elegant superstructure that turned the car into a stylish coupe. The body in the 2+2 concept then reaches total dimensions of 3.55 x 1.63 x 1.49 meters.

Under the hood, a new twin-cylinder TwinAir gasoline engine was hidden. With its modest volume of 0.9 liters, it achieves a maximum output of 77 kW and 155 Nm of torque.

The car was on display in a non-traditional yellow color and, together with contrasting accessories, created a very harmonious whole. This feeling is also confirmed by the 17" alloy wheels on which the little Fiat stood. The sporty character was further complemented by drilled brake discs and 205/40R17 tires.

The design of the interior goes hand in hand with the overall design of the exterior. It is therefore not surprising that it includes upholstery in a combination of black and yellow leather. For technically inclined drivers, there is the option of connecting a smartphone or satellite navigation.
