Volkswagen has unveiled a concept called the Golf Edition in Beijing , celebrating 40 years of production of this classic. You hardly recognize it at first sight, only the special nineteen-inch wheels are noticeable. The main changes are in the interior. This is dominated by wooden decor and white leather on the seats and door panels. Some elements, for example the mirror covers, are finished in matte chrome. The Beijing Motor Show is directly offering to celebrate the anniversary of the hatchback, since in May 1974 this model was presented to the public for the first time.
