Dodge – Uncertain Future?!

In recent years, we have witnessed the demise of several American car companies . Now speculation is starting to appear that a similar fate could befall the Dodge brand. So how is it doing and what can we expect?

Navigating through the multitude of conflicting reports about Dodge's future is becoming quite difficult. One moment one learns that a model will be discontinued, only to find out the next moment that this information is not true. However, there has recently been talk of reducing the number of models in the range, which could eventually lead to the cancellation of the entire brand as such.

However, the situation was clarified by the CEO of the SRT division , Ralph Gilles , who wrote on Instagram: " Dodge will stay! He may focus on a narrower segment, but his activity will not be terminated!” So fans can breathe a sigh of relief. But what to expect from the future of Dodge? Some models will reportedly be canceled or replaced by an adequate model under the Chrysler brand. Let's look at it in more detail.

The smallest Dart model is a relative newcomer, so it will remain in Dodge's lineup for the time being. On the contrary, it was said about the bigger Avenger that the new generation will not come. According to the latest information, we should wait for its continuation again… so that the devil knows about it! However, the Charger model has a secure future in the brand's offer. Crossover Journey supposedly as well.

We are therefore likely to say goodbye to the Durango and Grand Caravan models. The Durango sports SUV is rumored to be replaced by the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The Grand Caravan MPV will be canceled entirely, or replaced by a crossover, but it is not certain under what brand. As for the Challenger model, it has long been rumored that a successor to the Barracuda will appear in its place, but it should be led under the SRT brand. That is, the same as the sporty Viper.
