Dodge has released the official specifications of the Challenger Hellcat

The thorough modernization of the Challenger SRT also brought the top-of-the-line version of the Hellcat with a 6.2-liter HEMI eight-cylinder engine, which is also supercharged with a supercharger. Already preliminary data, indicating an output of over 600 horsepower , made it the most powerful V8 in Chrysler history, but only the officially released data made the Hellcat the most powerful muscle car in history .

The already mentioned eight-cylinder under the hood of the American coupe produces 716 horsepower and 880 Nm, which are numbers that outclass even super sports like the Lamborghini Aventador or the Dodge Viper, which even comes from its own stable. The rear wheels are driven, of course, using a six-speed manual or an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic.

If you're worried that you won't manage such a herd, but you like the Hellcat, Dodge offers a solution. Two keys are supplied with the car – the black key allows the car a maximum output of "only" 506 horses, and only with the red key you get permission to use all 716 springs under the hood.
