The interior received a new steering wheel and a modified center console, which now offers a touch screen of the Uconnect system. It can be 5 or 8.4 inches. To make sure there are no more screens, one is also located on the instrument panel and has a size of 7 inches. To entertain rear passengers, Dodge has installed an entertainment system in the headrests that is capable of playing Blu-Ray or DVD .
Several new items were added to the list of additional equipment. The steering wheel can be newly heated, and in addition to heating, the seats can also be air-conditioned. Another new feature is a system that automatically dials 911 in the event of an accident. In addition, safety is ensured by the adaptive cruise control, which cooperates with the collision warning system. It can even completely prevent an accident at low speeds.
A pair of engines continues to appear under the hood. The weaker six-cylinder 3.6 has an output of 294 hp, the more powerful eight-cylinder 5.7 Hemi has an output of 364 hp. The most significant technical change is the use of an eight-speed automatic, which will improve not only the quality of driving, but also its economy. Both engines have the new automatic as standard.
In addition to the Durango, the Charger SRT8 sedan in the 392 special edition also appeared at the Dodge booth. It brings special badges of the model, black color on the roof, hood and rear wing, and mainly twenty-inch Black Vapor wheels. The choice of colors was limited to 5 shades. Only 392 units of this modified car will be produced, each of which will cost $2,495 (approx. CZK 50,100) more than the classic Charger SRT8.
