Dodge Charger gets the Daytona moniker again after three years

After three years , the Daytona name is returning to the name of the large Charger sedan from Dodge . It's a limited-edition model that will offer (among other things) a gorgeous blue paint job, and will be unveiled tomorrow at the LA Auto Show .

However, the Daytona Blue color is not the only one that the Daytona model can have! In addition to it, there are also white Bright , silver Billet and black Pitch to choose from. But who would buy such boring colors?

In addition to the new livery, every Daytona also gets a black grille, new hood and roof graphics, a rear wing from the R/T version and, of course, Daytona-specific graphics that reference the model's name. The exterior design is completed by 20-inch wheels .

In the interior, the changes are two-fold – the Road & Track version will offer ventilated seats in Nappa leather and blue stitching, while the R/T version will offer "only" cloth upholstery. Both versions will then receive a new pedal design or an improved audio system.

As you already understood, the Daytona package will be available for R/T and Road & Track versions. Both will have a 370 horsepower HEMI V8 engine and differ only in price. For the R/T version, the surcharge for the package is 2,995 dollars (approx. 58,000 CZK), for the Road & Track version it is "only" 2,500 dollars (approx. 48,000 CZK). However, the number of units produced with this pack is strictly limited to 2500!

For the record, I will add that the Daytona models will offer sportier axles, steering and suspension and gear shift paddles in a sportier mode.
