Will the Jaguar F-Type get a new base engine?

In about a year on the market, the Jaguar F-Type has already found many supporters and, what is important, many buyers. However, the British automaker is not resting on its laurels and according to the latest speculation , it wants to bring the F-Type closer to an even wider audience.

According to the current spy pictures published by the Worldcarfans server , a turbocharged two-liter four-cylinder with a power of 240 hp and a torque of 340 Nm will move under the hood of the two-seater roadster.

The four-cylinder will be complemented by a three-liter six-cylinder engine with an output of 340 or 380 hp and a five-liter eight-cylinder engine with an output of 495 hp. The only change in appearance compared to the previous base engine will most likely be the changed hood design.

The four-cylinder F-Type will appear on the market in the course of next year , and most importantly – its price should drop below the existing six-cylinder version of the F-Type, which starts at 1,940,477 CZK.
