Datusn introduced the second model for the Russian market

Let's start with some dry numbers – in the first weeks since the waiting lists opened, which was in July, Datsun recorded 3,000 orders for the new on-DO sedan , and the first person to pre-order it was 29-year-old IT specialist Mikhail from Omsk. In Moscow, next to the on-DA, another model is presented, designed especially for the currently most watched country in the world – the mi-DO hatchback .

While the sedan is technically and visually based on the Lady Grant, the mi-DO hatchback has its origins in the Lada Kalina , which, however, received the face of all other modern Datsuns. It contains a hexagonal radiator grille and different front lights, while the Kalina inspiration is more visible at the back, but probably imperceptible to a less knowledgeable person. Similar to the sedan, the automaker did not forget to emphasize the "masculine design" of the body .

The hatchback shares a wheelbase of 2,476 mm, a height of 1,500 mm and a width of 1,700 mm with the previously introduced sedan, but it is only 3,950 mm in length . The interior can accommodate five passengers, who will already enjoy front airbags , ABS, heated seats or heated rear-view mirrors in the basic equipment. A multimedia system or air conditioning are also available for an additional fee.

The engine is powered by a six-cylinder petrol engine with eight valves and an output of 87 horsepower. The front wheels are driven using a five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic transmission . Sales will start in early 2015 through the existing 25 dealerships, with another 75 dealers to be added soon. The car warranty is 3 years or 100,000 km.
