Dakar 2015 – Summary info #4

Among the bikers today, Walkner was the fastest on KTM , beating the favorite Coma on the same brand and Barreda Borto on Honda . However, Honda riders Barreda Bort and Goncalves continue to hold the leading positions. However, today's winner Walkner moved up to the third place. Slovakian Svitko was 13th (12th overall) and Jakeš 18th (20th overall). The Czechs then finished in order – Pabiška 37th (36th overall), Gottvald 41st (99th overall), Engel 45th (47th overall), Klymčiw 47th (38th overall) and Veselý 66th (68th overall). Lucas Boretto won the quads today, but Rafal Sonik continues to lead.

In the cars, Orlando Terranova won with a Mini , followed by Toyota drivers Giniel de Villiers and Yazeed Alrajhi . Overall, Nasser Al-Attiyah still leads with Mini ahead of de Villiers. Thanks to today's victory, Terranova moved up to third place. Today, Petr Jerie finished in 45th position and is 10 places lower in the overall ranking.

Even today, the fastest trucks at the finish line were the Russian Kamazes , followed by Mardeev and Karginov . They were accompanied to the podium by Gerard de Rooy with his special Iveco . Aleš Loprais reached the finish line in fourth place today with a MAN TGX. The sixth place belongs to today's best Tatra truck, piloted by Martin Kolomý . Today, Tomáš Vrátný finished in 13th position with Tatra Jamal, and Martin Macík with the LIAZ truck was classified one place behind him. 19th position today, that's the result of Artur Ardavichus with another Tatra Jamal. Van den Brink arrived two positions behind him with a Renault K MKR. Szutkowski was classified in 26th position with Tatra Jamal third. 35th position is today's result of Robert Kasák with Tatra 815, 38th was the Dutchman Huzink with Tatra Phoenix and de Baar with the second Renault MKR was up to 40th. Overall, Mardeev leads, second is Loprais and third is Karginov. Kolomý dropped to fifth place after the penalty this morning, and he holds that position even after today's stage. Macík continues to hold his 13th position, right behind him is van den Brink, Vratný has moved to 16th position, and Ardavichus is in 19th place.
